Fujifilm housing for Finepix F420 (02-02-2004)

Fujifilm Japan has announced the WP-FX420 underwater housing for the new FinePix F420. The F420 is a 3.14 megapixel camera has a 3x optical zoom (36 - 108 mm equivalent) with an aperture range of F2.8 to F4.8.

The WP-FX420 allows you to go to a depth of 40 meters. The case itself weighs 245 grams (excluding camera) and is dimensioned at only 120x105x81mm. The WP-FX420 is expected to be available world-wide in the spring of 2004, at a retail price of approximately 200 USD/220 euros.
