Nikon Coolpix housings: WP-CP3 and WP-CP4 (18-02-2005)
Nikon has announced two new underwater housings: the WP-CP3 (left) and WP-CP4 (below). These compact and lightweight housings are designed specifically for the new Coolpix cameras and allow taking shots while snorkeling or scuba diving up to 40 meters.
The WP-CP3 is intended for the Coolpix 4600 and 5600 models, the WP-CP4 for the Coolpix 5900 and 7900 models. All four cameras have a special Underwater Scene Mode that enables true-to-life colors under water.
Both cameras and housings are expected to become available starting March 2005.
