Hugyfot HFN D70 Delrin housing for Nikon D70 (11-03-2005)

Update: after extensively testing the Delrin housing, Hugyfot found it could not meet their quality standards and the D70 Delrin has therefore not made it into production.

The aliminium Hugyfot D70 is getting a plastic brother this summer, made of Delrin, "an inflexible polymer from formaldehyde".

The housing has a compact design (208 x 160 x 125 mm), weighs 1450 grams (without the camera) and is tested to a maximum depth of 80 meters. The HFN D70 can be used with a flat-port for the standard Nikon lens. Dome- and macro-port, for wide angle and macro lenses, are also available.

Available camera functions are: On/Off, Sensitive Shutter Release, Shutter Speed, Aperture, Zoom, Display, Menu, Central Control Buttons. For connection of an external strobe, a Nikonos flash connection and a handle are available.

50 years of pionering from Hugyfot has become a renewed injection by a joined venture with Green Force, the most advanced dive torch makers in the world. The Hugyfot housings are now built according to the latest CAD/CAM techniques by Green Force.
