Mediasub underwater housing for Minolta Dynax 7D (25-04-2005)Mediasub/Bruder have released an underwater housing for the Konica Minolta Dynax (or Maxxum) 7D. The 7D is Konica Minolta's 6 megapixel dSLR, targeted at the prosumer and professional range of the competition, the Canon 20D, Nikon D100, Olympus E-1 and the like.
The carbon based housing allows the user to take the 7D to a maximum depth of 80 meters, and all functions of the camera are accessible. It uses the Mediasub/Bruder interchangeable port-hole system for a wide variety of supported lenses.
The housing has seawater-resistant quick-clasps for easy access and has a built-in reflector for the view finder and LCD screen. A Nikonos V connector is included standard, as are handles and a leak warning system.
