SEALUX CC 30 housing for Canon EOS 30D (18-09-2006)
Sealux Unterwassertechnik has released the CC30 underwater housing for the Canon EOS 30D digital SLR. The CC30 is an aluminium milled out of monoblock CNC, hard-anodised and specially coated for highest sea water resistance. It supports all major functions of the camera, including measuring mode selection, flash +/- and LCD-illumination. The housing comes with two handles, each fitted with a T-piece for flash arms. And has two quick clasps with safety locks.
The housing can be fitted to personal preferences with two types of optical viewfinder and S6 or C5 type strobe connector for TTL or manual flash control. The Canon 420CX, 430CX and 580CX flash models can be used in TTL mode using the Sealux CX420, CX430 or CX580 strobe housings. All SEALUX bayonet-based flat and dome ports can be used, which enables use of Canon, Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses. For futher customization the CC30 housing can also be fitted with a second flash socket and a moisture indicator.
