Epoque EHS-510H for Sanyo Xacti HD1 and HD1A (02-10-2006)

Epoque Japan have released the ESH-510H underwater housing for the Sanyo Xacti HD1 and HD1A Digital Media Cameras.

The Xacti HD1 and HDA1 have a super-slim body, with a volume of around 200 cc and a weight of around 210 g, fit easily in your pocket or purse, so you can take them anywhere.

They shoot high-definition MPEG-4 movies at 1280x720 pixels and 30 fps and 5.1-megapixel still images, feature 10x optical zoom lens and allow macro focus as close as 1 cm.

This exellent technology can now be used under water with the Epoque EHS-510H housing. It supports control of all of the camera's functions, for both the video and photo modes.

The housing's lens port is thread for adding accessories, such as the UR-PRO filter, the DML-2 macro lens or DCL-20 wide angle lens. For mounting a digital strobe or a video light a special "clog adapter" can be connected to the housing's shoe.

Update 10 jan 2007: the EHS-510H is also a suitable underwater housing for the Sanyo Xacti HD2.
