MediaSub launches BlueBoxx underwater housings (31-01-2007)
MediaSub have launched a completely new type of underwater housing to their evergrowing series: the BlueboxX. The BlueBoxX is a high range housing manufactured of a special reinforced plastic from space technology and has seawater-resistant stainless steel secured quick-clasps, and can be safely used to depths of up to 60 meters.
The BlueBoxX is available in customized models for many popular DSLR cameras, including the Nikon D80 and D200, the Canon EOS 350D (Digital Rebel XT) and 30D, the Minolta Maxxum/Dynax 7D, and the Sony A100. Models for Pentax cameras will be released later this year. Each model offers an array of adjustment options for beginning photographers as wel as the seasoned pro. All important camera controls have been taken into consideration during production, enabling the diver to take full advantage of all the capabilities modern cameras provide. This high range housing comes standard with handles, leak warning and flat port at a price of 999 Euros including VAT.
