Fantasea F580EXII Flash Housing (07-08-2007)
Mid August, Fantasea Line will release the flash Housing for the Canon 580EX Mark II Speedlight. The F580EXII is the perfect flash system to combine with a Fantasea or other major brand housing for Canon DSLR cameras, as it enables the use of the original eTTL system. Features include a special bracket for connecting to Fantasea and similar Flex and Ball or Joint Arm Systems, full controls for all Flash Functions including eTTL, depth rated to 60 meters/200 feet, airlock watertight seal system, a Fantasea 6 pin sync cord is included. This Flash Housing also accommodates the Canon 580EX Mark I Speedlite, allowing access to all controls but the power switch. Therefore the Mark I flash should be turned on prior to installing it into the housing.
At the same time, Fantasea announced two new housings: the FS-200 and the FS-500, for the Nikon Coolpix S200 and S500 respectively. Both camera housings are based on Fantasea's totally new housing design, featuring full function controls, improved and stronger construction and double O-ring seals on all command control buttons, which are now made of coated brass. The FS-200 and FS-500 will be released this September, at a retail price of around 200 USD/180 EUR. More Fantasea cases can be found on the Fantasea underwater housings page.
