Fujifilm WP-FXF50 and FXZ100 underwater housings (02-09-2007)

Together with the introduction of several new FinPix digital cameras, Fujifilm will add two new underwater housings to their line.

First up is the WP-FXF50 for the FinePix F50fd, the successor of the popular F31fd.

The F50fd camera is packed with innovative technology and has new stylish metal design and many new functions for better results. It features a 3x optical zoom lens, a 12 megapixel Super CCD HR-sensor and Real Photo Processor II.

Second is the WP-FXZ100 for the 8 megapixel FinePix Z100fd.

The Z100fd is Fujifilm's latest addition to their popular line of ultra-slim, high performance digital cameras. This camera is only 19,8 mm thick and features a 5x optical zoom lens, Face Detection technology and CCD-shift photo stabilisation.

The housings are manufactured of transparent polycarbonate, have reinforced glass lens windows, and can be taken safely to depths of up to 40 meters.
