BS Kinetics Gibson housing for Olympus E420 / E520 (03-07-2008)

BS Kinetics is pleased to announce their Gibson underwater housing line now also supports the Olympus E-420 en E-520.

The E-420 is the world's smallest en lightest consumer digital SLR, but still offers heavyweight technologies, including 10-megapixel, a bigger, more viewable 2.7-inch LCD and consumer-friendly fast On-Screen Autofocus, Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment Technology and Perfect Shot Preview to get the most out of the Live View experience.

The 10.0 Megapixel E-520 is the successor to the EISA Award-winning E-500 series, en incorporates a built-in image stabilizer to ensure blur-free shots irrespective of the lens attached – no matter if wide-angle or ultra-tele and without the need for a tripod.

Both cameras incorporate the Supersonic Wave Filter to protect against the effects of dust, which can enter the camera during lens changes or otherwise result from normal operation. Photographers therefore enjoy blemish-free pictures at all times.

The BS Kinetics Gibson housing for the E-420 and E-520 can be taken safely to depths of 80 meters. As all BS Kinetics housings it is composed of carbon fiber, keeping it lightweight and ideal for transportation by airplane.

All functions of the camera can be controlled through the housing. A bayonet port system and adapter allow for attachment of many types of ports and support a wide range of popular lenses.

The BS Kinetics Gibson for the Olympus E-420 and E-520 is delivered including handles, leak warning and flat port. Pricing starts at 1760 euro.
